Mounted to the charge pipe, the Compressed Gas BoostGate can be used to modulate boost pressure directly, rather than the indirect method of traditional hot side boost control.Charge Air Control is specifically suited to applications like drag racing where turbocharger specifications have already been optimized and the turbine housing is not a limiting performance factor (ie engine pressure ratio’s below 1).
