At Motobilt, we believe even corner armor should be beautiful as well as strong! Add steel body armor to fortify the rear exterior quarter panels & rear corners of your 4 Door Jeep JKU. “Does NOT fit 2 door” As any seasoned Jeep owner knows, these rear corner areas are susceptible to trail damage, especially the factory Jeep JK taillights & factory license plate mount. We have solved this issue in four key ways:
1. We have eliminated the factory taillights & offer you the ability to add grommet style flush mounted round tail lights.
2. We have added a 3/16" thick layer of high strength steel that completely wraps your factory sheet metal from behind the rear doors all the way back to the tailgate.
3. We countersink all mounting holes & provide you with stainless steel flush mounted fasteners to eliminate any chance of a rock or object getting hung up on an exposed bolt head.
4. We have eliminated the factory license plate mount. Our corner armor covers the factory opening in the sheet metal. We offer several license plate relocator kits. We developed a unique multi-stage CNC forming press brake process in-house that allows us follow the multi-contoured surface located around the tail light area. We also developed matching contoured welding fixtures that ensures our corner armor hugs your Jeep like a glove. Our craftsmen blend, metal finish & sand all of our corner armor for a superior level of fit & finish. Our product ships as bare metal, ready for your custom paint or powder coat finish. This kit includes rivnuts for you to fasten to your sheet metal along with all stainless steel mounting fasteners. This kit does NOT include taillights. We have provided a hole opening of 4-5/8" diameter which works with many styles & brands of 4" Round Tail Lights with grommets.
