The COMP Series is a super-stubby minimalist bumper designed for the hard-core rock crawler who values light weight and the most possible clearance available in a bumper for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. COMP Series front bumpers are only slightly wider than the Jeep's frame rails, allowing massive clearance for huge tires at full turn and full suspension articulation. The compact profile of the COMP Series bumper also gives the front tires full, clear access to grip and climb up onto boulders, rock walls and other extreme trail obstacles. This bumper packs a ton of features into its compact design, such as faceted surfaces designed to help ease the Jeep up and over the rocks, an integrated top winch mount, and bomb-proof plate steel construction. The rock crawler style tubular stinger extends up and out from the bumper to help prevent a forward flop if you come down hard off of a steep ledge. The stinger is made of heavy wall DOM tubing and fortified with laser cut steel plate gussets. If you manage to get yourself into a tight spot, recovery is aided by a pair of extreme duty recovery shackle tabs, CNC machined from beefy 1" thick plate steel. And like the rest of the COMP Series bumper, even the recovery tabs are angled for maximum clearance. The bumper is made from CNC laser cut, precision brake-formed 3/16 plate steel. The COMP Series bumper looks as great as it performs, with a durable, semi-gloss black powder coat finish.
