GPS now provides a titanium stud and nut kit that enables you to effortlessly attach your reverse mount starter to the bell housing without using the two bolts that secure the starter. This kit helps prevent the stripping of the aluminum bell housing threads over time. To use the kit, apply thread locking compound to the coarse threaded end of the stud and thread it into the bell housing. Then, slide your starter into place. The kit comes with 2 studs, nuts, and washers with 7/16" threads, one side coarse and the other side fine thread.
